SELKIRK JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB AGM
The AGM for Selkirk Junior Football Club was held on Thursday 26 April 2012 at 7pm in the Yarrow Park Clubrooms.
At this meeting is was stated by Jackie Thomson and Aaron Biggs that they would not be continuing their roles on the new committee for season 2012 / 2013. Aaron will remain attached to Selkirk Football Club in his role as Club Development Officer.
Many thanks to Jackie and Aaron for their valuable help with the club.
At this meeting and several subsequent meetings, the following positions were filled to form a committee.
Chairperson
Vice Chairperson/Website Co-ordinator
General/Minute Secretary (to liaise with Head Coach on coach education)
Treasurer
Membership/Registration Secretary (to liaise with Treasurer)
Head Coach
Fundraiser
Child Protection Officer/PVG Officer
Volunteer
Very many thanks to outgoing and new committee members who have / will give up their time, free of charge, to ensure that children can continue to have the chance to develop their skills in the sport of football with the club.
There are about 160 registered players with "Selkirk Stars" who train and play on a weekly basis during the season. Without the dedicated efforts coaches, commiittee members, volunteers and parents; this would not be possible. Many thanks to you all.
